on the job: Annual recovery conference at Saint Joseph's University
With September being National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month, these images of Saint Joseph’s 7th Annual Recovery Conference take on an even greater significance.
From candid shots of peer connections to powerful moments during keynote speeches, our photography at this event aimed to showcase how the institution is shaping the future of student support and recovery on and off campus.
Why You Need a Professional Photographer at Your Next Conference
Conferences, tradeshows and company retreats are pivotal for knowledge sharing, networking, and branding your business or institution. When planning events like these, your budget is often stretched across numerous categories: venue, speakers, materials, refreshments, and countless other details. It can be easy to overlook or opt out of professional photo and video coverage of your event. But not investing in visual coverage for your conference could end up costing you valuable marketing opportunities in the future. The photographs taken during these annual events play a crucial role in extending their impact far beyond the event itself.
On the Job: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 375
Local 375 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Allentown, PA began with only 17 charter members. Throughout the years, they have grown their membership to an impressive 1,000 members who are employed in electrical trade construction, public works departments, cable television and communications, power generation, and other related industries.
Engage Employees and Promote Workplace Culture Through Marketing Visuals: Cecilian Partners
Lifestyle marketing photography is a great way to show off your brand in a more approachable, real world way. Lifestyle marketing can also be used as a tool to show off your product/services, recruit new employees and even as a tactic to retain the team you have. I have seen this successfully implemented in the past during my shoots with Ballinger and Swartley Bros and more recently with Cecilian Partners.
On the Job: Mount Saint Joseph Academy
Traditions build a school and its legacy. Mount Saint Joseph Academy has its fair share of traditions. From Alumnae Induction, to Commencement, Freshmen Fest and the Golden Girls Luncheon (I’d like an invite to that please); they are always recognizing and celebrating their past and current students and I am here for it.
On the Job: Villanova School of Business
I think a lot of us can agree that COVID created some kind of time warp where 2020 feels both like a lifetime ago and somehow also like it was just yesterday. In the evolving education landscape, classroom images can quickly become outdated and when VSB reached out to update their mask-free image gallery for the first time since pre-COVID I was pretty excited to jump into the classroom and get to work.
On the Job: Villanova University’s 2024 Women in Tech Conference
At the end of January, Villanova University hosted their 9th Annual Women in Tech Conference and asked me to document this impressive event. A chance to document women doing incredible work in the technology field (or any field for that matter)? YES PLEASE.
On the Job: Jill Bodensteiner
It’s Women’s History Month! All month! What better opportunity is there for me to highlight some of the incredible and influential women I have worked with over the years (and there have been many). One of these phenomenal women is Jill Bodensteiner.
On The Job: When Heaven Meets Earth
I’m so fortunate that my work allows me to meet many talented individuals in industries across the board. In November, we were invited to be a part of the two-week event “When Heaven Meets Earth: Experiencing Taiwan’s Sacred Statues” at Saint Joseph’s University.
